Our simple presence can transcend barriers, can be written in water, flowing perfectly into gaps or over barriers. In issue 36 our contributors explore what it means to overcome obstacles and live through life as if it were "writ in water," as it is written on John Keats' grave. 

In Issue 36 we learn about water as a guide for writing, about a mother who cannot transcend her obstacle and is led into water intoxication, and about how raining chair parts can form a lifelong friendship.
