He is an award winning writer, teacher and tree climber, and his piece "Flexing, Texting, and Flying" was the winner of Ruminate's 2011 Nonfiction Prize and appears in Issue 20. He'll also be reading his work at a Ruminate reading and reception on March 2nd in Chicago.
